An estimated 6,000+ people visited West Main Street on Saturday, September 10, 2016 for thethird annual Louisville Mini Makers Faire, adjacent to the NuLu Festival. This year will be even bigger! The Faire will be a free, family-friendly, open street fair environment full of crafters, entrepreneurs, engineers, artists, and other Makers of all stripes sharing, explaining and demonstrating their projects. It will be a day of creativity, innovation, and curiosity.
The organizers of the Mini Makers Faire – community volunteers who are doing this on their own time – believe that the spirit of the event is to be as open and accessible as possible to participants, visitors and Makers. Unlike other Maker Faires, we are not charging admission and are not charging Makers for their booths. Therefore, sponsorship funding allows us to underwrite the costs of putting on the event, including licensing the Maker Faire brand, marketing the event, and covering onsite costs.
We hope you will help us make this fantastic event happen!
